COURSE DEFINITION	The Beat Generation which played an outstanding role in the emergence of Rock's Roll music, which first initiated in the U.S and later spread to England and other parts of Europe is the main subject of this course
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Learns the basic information about the Beat Generation. 2nd Week The impact of the Beat Generation on music culture. 3rd Week Beat Generation Philosophy, Dadaism and Buddhism. 4th Week Existentialism and Buddhism on the Beat Generation. 5th Week Beat Generation writers. 6th Week Bebop and rock'n roll culture. 7th Week Blues, Garage Rock, Folk Rock, Psychedelic Rock and Raga Rock. 8th Week Hippie Culture and Woodstock. 9th Week Midterm. 10th Week The Beatles and their effects on the Beat Generation. 11th Week The Rolling Stones and their effects on the Beat Generation. 12th Week Beat Generation and Rock culture. 13th Week Analysis of Beat Generation lyrics. 14th Week Analysis of Beat Generation lyrics. 15th Week Analysis of Beat Generation lyrics.
