COURSE DEFINITION	Preparing the vocalist to perform in classical, romantic and post-modern eras of the literature of lied and also analysing the poetry and musical characteristics of it.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Briefs on vocal exercises and form structures 2nd Week Practical studies on three selected art-songs of Romantic period composers (one from Tchaikovsky) (H. Berlioz, F. Chopin, A. Dvorak J. Brahms). 3rd Week Practical studies on selected works with piano accompaniment 4th Week Practical studies on selected works with piano accompaniment. Vocal exercises considering vocal characteristics of students. 5th Week Practical studies on two selected art-songs of contemporary composers (C. Debussy, R.
