LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn advanced PCR based techniques designed for specific aims.
2) Use of immunodetection and immunoseperation based analysis in molecular biology research.
3) Gain knowledge of the use of high throughput metagenomic, genomic and transcriptomic analysis techniques, and their bioinformatics applications.
4) Learn writing a project proposal and budget planning for proposals on varying research areas of molecular biology.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course is designed to teach the students the essential and advanced experimental design for molecular genetics studies, the details of molecular cloning, preparation and analyses of nucleic acids and proteins, analyses of recombinant organisms, genome editing and sequencing.
