LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) To understand the theories of international trade (absolute advantage, comparative advantage, factor endowment, offer curves, similarity of preferences, intra-industry trade, etc.). 2) To be able to use basic economic analysis methods (supply and demand curves, indifference curves, cost and output curves, etc.). 3) To explain and interpret international trade theories through basic economic analysis methods.

COURSE DEFINITION | International economics consists of two parts: international trade and international finance. International trade theories and their comparison is made in this course. Similarly, the main concepts of international finance are also analyzed in this course.
