LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explaining the basis of the World Trading System. 2) Explaining the organizational and structural basis of the International Trade for better Understanding. 3) Explaining the Macro level set ups that governs the business activites. 4) Explaining the mutual interdependence 5) Comprehend the working style of international organizations. 6) Have an idea about globalization and regionalization.

COURSE DEFINITION	The role of International Commercial and Economic Organizations in the world trading system, main causes for establishing these organizations (globalization, regionalization), the objectives, operations and historical development of the Bretton Woods System and organizations conducting mutual interdependence (IMF, World Bank, GATT/WTO and other related organizations) as well as the Regional and International Commercial Agreements (EU, EFTA, NAFTA, MERCOSUR, APEC, ASEAN, etc.) will be covered.
