At the end of this course, the students; 1) Stress, strain and load types 2) Ability to analyze stress and deformation in axial loading 3) Ability to analyze stress and deformation in torsional loading 4) Ability to analyze stress and deformation in transverse loading 5) To be able to analyze stress and deformation in combined loading, to use the Mohr circle method. 6) Ability to design power transmission shafts 7) Ability to calculate slope and deflection of beams
