1) It can classify plastic materials according to different criteria.
2) Distinguish between amorphous and crystalline structure.
3) Distinguish and classify thermoset and thermoplastic polymers.
4) Distinguish the polymerization methods.
5) Can design polymers according to usage areas.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe long-term aim of this course is to provide students with general knowledge about the production methods of plastics and plastic-based composites, which are one of the most used materials in industry and daily life, and the introduction of their properties, the use of additives and strength enhancers, and the properties of plastics.
