COURSE DEFINITION	In this course, it is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about how to test, adjust and control gasoline and diesel engines.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Physical Controls of Engine Systems, Cooling and Lubrication Systems 2nd Week Ignition System and Controls 3rd Week Diagnostic Equipment, Cables and Connections of Diagnostic Test Equipment 4th Week Fault Scanning of Engine Systems 5th Week Fault Codes, Deleting Faults in ECU Memory, Introducing Parts to ECU 6th Week Compression Test, Cylinder Leak Tester 7th Week Exhaust Emissions and Controls, Catalytic Converters 8th Week Midterm 9th Week Vehicle Instrumentation Systems and Controls 10th Week Controls Performed with Diagnostic Test Device 11th Week Sensor Controls 12th Week Controls on Lubrication Line 13th Week Engine Tests (Power, Torque, Fuel Consumption, Air Consumption, Specific Fuel Consumption, Volumetric Efficiency, Thermal Efficiency) 14th Week Vehicle Test
