COURSE DEFINITIONPurposes of special steel production, production technologies and production reasons. Heat treatments of special (super alloy) steels, alloying element additions and their effects on the properties of steel. Double-phase steels (Double-phase heat treatment techniques and formation of double-phase steels, production methods and continuous production technique, properties of texturizers in double-phase steels, factors affecting mechanical properties and microstructure-property relationships. Double-phase steels that provide weight savings in vehicles, used in the automotive industry properties expected from materials, the relationship between vehicle weight and fuel consumption, materials that can be alternatives to dual-phase steels, Microalloyed (High Strength Low Alloyed) steels, (Features of microalloyed steels, microalloying, hardening mechanisms in microalloyed steels, production stages of microalloyed steels, general application areas). Controlled rolling process in steels.

4th Week Knowledge of construction-oriented techniques and structural strength of steel in steel constructions
5th Week Manufacturing of special steels
6th Week Machining of special steels
7th Week Examination of the structure of steel and material surface treatments
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Steel types used in the production industry and their structural examination
10th Week Stainless steel technique
11th Week Techniques developed in inox manufacturing methods and corrosion protection measures
12th Week Properties of steels used in foods
13th Week Examination of steels used in the automotive industry
14th Week Examination of steels used in the construction and electrical industries
