LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Have knowledge about the working principles of machines used in food industry.
2) To have information about the equipment and machinery to be selected according to the characteristics of the food product to be produced.
3) Heating, dehydration and evaporation systems will have information about.
4) Have knowledge about classification, separation, packaging and cleaning systems.
5) Have knowledge about factory installation.

COURSE DEFINITIONIt provides information about the physical properties of foods, raw material weighing and measuring machines in foods, flow phenomena and types in foods, how raw material flow processes are carried out, general principles of the processes, and the features of the processing machines.
