LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can define and make sense of communication. 2) Know the process, features and functions of communication. 3) Know all aspects of communication from self-communication to international communication. 4) Learn to use effective communication skills between people, in groups and within the business environment. 5) Know the features, positive and negative aspects of mass media, and approaches of public relations to mass communication.

COURSE DEFINITION	The communication course is designed to teach students the importance of communication in our daily life, the difficulties to be encountered in the communication process and ways to cope with them, and to gain the knowledge of effective communication skills necessary to communicate successfully in different environments in working life.
