LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Defines the basic concepts that will constitute infrastructure in theoretical issues related to airline management. 2) Understand information about airline transport, which can define the airline economy. 3) Describe airline management operations and learn airline financial management.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course provides an opportunity to examine decision processes in airline management, including economic issues and operational planning models and decision support tools. Economic demand models, pricing, costs and supply applications to airline markets and networks are emphasized. In addition, industry practices and evolving methods of fleet planning, route network design, scheduling, pricing and revenue management are examined. The interactions between airline management components and profit objectives in a competitive environment are emphasized.
