At the end of this course, the students; 1) Make clinical observations. 2) Can describe their observations verbally and reflect them in written reports. 3) Can make personality assessments (using objective and projective tests) and write an assessment report. 4) Can give intelligence and or neuropsychological assessments and write reports. 5) Can conduct psychotherapeutic interviews. 6) Can formulate a case, try to make a diagnosis and make a treatment plan. 7) Can work with a clinical team.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course is aimed to increase the clinical skills of the students, under supervision. The applications can be carried out in contexts approved by the Director of Psychology Graduate Program (The approvable contexts can be inside and outside the University?s own clinics, hospitals, health centers, psychotherapy education laboratories, stress-management centers, psychological counseling centers, etc.). The applications should be carried out for at least two days a week (the duration can be changed in case the student is working in a clinic). The skills expected to be gained include clinical observation, expression of these observations in writing and verbally, personality evaluations (applications of objective and projective measures), intelligence and neuropsychological evaluations, reporting the results, conducting a psychotherapeutic interview, making a diagnosis, case formulation, report writing, intervention planning and team work.
