At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows and distinguishes the definitions and concepts related to the elements of communication and communication process (message, target, source, noise, perception, feedback). 2) Knows the elements that create communication barriers, types of communication, organizational communication and the importance of communication for business life and businesses. 3) Knows the place of culture in communication and the differences in intercultural communication. 4) Knows and distinguishes nonverbal, verbal, written and electronic communication and knows its importance for businesses and consumers. 5) Knows how to prepare a CV (Resume) and the points to be considered in job interviews. 6) Knows marketing communication and its elements. 7) Knows public relations and crisis communication, its features and what needs to be done in crisis communication.

COURSE DEFINITION
Communication is a mandatory function for every business. The global world, where workforce diversity is high and advanced technologies are used, forces employees to technological and intercultural communication both inside and outside the organization. Within the scope of this course, the concept of communication, its types, communication differences according to cultures and marketing communication will be examined by taking into account technological innovations.
