At the end of this course, the students;
1) To know the general characteristics of Turkish cinema,

To know the periods and important directors of Turkish cinema,
3) Developing a critical point of view towards movies,
4) Having information about the narrative structure of the films,

To know the different trends emerging in the historical evolution of cinema,
6) It is aimed to know how to interpret the relationship between Turkish cinema and social structure.

| COURSE DEFINITION | Students taking the Turkish Cinema History course are planned to gain a new and critical perspective towards the important films of Turkish cinema history.Within the scope of the course, Turkish Cinema History will be divided into periods and some of the films of these directors will be shown by discussing important directors.The development periods of Turkish cinema will be evaluated in chronological order and how social conditions reflect on cinema will be given.
