At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know the concept of demography and basic demographic definitions. 2) Learn and applying the demographic events and their formulations. 3) Comprehend the survival models and constructing a model. 4) Know and applying the parametric and non-parametric survival models. 5) Learn and applying the life tables and their usage in insurance sector.
