At the end of this course, the students; 1) Have general information on EC institutions. 2) Have general information on the decision making procedure of the EC. 3) Learn the logic and operational working of the EC single insurance and reinsurance market /single passport, 4) Regarding EC Life Insurance Directives; learn the mathematical reserves, capital adequacy, market access conditions and liquidation. 5) Considering EC non-life insurance directives; learn the technical reserves, capital adequacy, market access and liquidation. 6) Considering EC Directives; learn motor insurance, taxation, supervision and reinsurance. 7) Have the knowledge and ability to measure the insurance company capital adequacy under the Solvency II implementation. 8) Have the ability to produce solutions to the risk management problems regarding cross-border transactions and country groups.
