COURSE DEFINITION
This course is oriented around basic concepts of pension: Private pensions, social security and retirement provision; development of private pension systems in selected countries: OECD countries, member states of the EU, USA, Canada; development of private pension system in Turkey; historical development of individual pension system, basic concepts of individual pension system, institutions involved in the individual pension system, legal framework, pension companies, pension funds, pension plans.
