LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn about the development of Insurance and private Pension sector in Turkey and in the world and the existing structure. 2) Have knowledge about life insurance in life insurance and practice of life insurance. 3) Obtain information about actuarial basis of life insurance. 4) Acquire theoretical knowledge about personal accident insurance and learn about the operation of personal accident insurance. 5) Acquire theoretical knowledge about Social Security and Private Pension Systems and learn about the functioning of Private Pension System.

COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, the Development and Current Structure of the Insurance and Private Pension Sectors in Turkey and the World will be explained; Information will be given about the theoretical background and practical applications/functions of Life, Personal Accident Insurance, Social Security and Private Pension Systems. Also, health insurance markets in Turkey will be mentioned. |
