LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the development of dentistry in the historical process. 2) Counts the dentistry practices carried out in the First Age. 3) Counts the dentistry practices in the Middle Ages. 4) Lists dentistry practices in the 17th and 18th centuries. 5) Learns dentistry practices in the 19th and 20th centuries. 6) Recognizes dental professional organizations. 7) Explain the history of Turkish dentistry. 8) Explain the development of instruments used in dentistry in the historical process.

COURSE DEFINITION	It is a course that teaches the historical development of the methods and materials used in dentistry along with the dentistry profession.
