At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explains the principles of taking anamnesis from patients by communicating with geriatric patients. 2) Counts the normal and abnormal changes in physiological functions related to aging. 3) Lists the clinical features of periodontal diseases in geriatric patients. 4) Explain the features of salivary function diseases specific to geriatric patients. 5) Defines applications specific to geriatric patients in terms of restorative dental treatment. 6) Explain the approaches specific to geriatric patients in terms of endodontic dental treatment. 7) Lists applications specific to geriatric patients in terms of prosthetic dental treatment. 8) Evaluates the difficulties experienced in dental treatment in geriatric and disabled patients and uses behavior management techniques.
