LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Accurately collects, organizes and analyzes periodontal data. 2) Interprets radiographs for diagnosis of periodontal diseases and implants. 3) Creates a diagnosis and treatment plan for periodontal diseases. 4) It effectively conveys the current periodontal health status and treatment requirements to the patients. 5) It combines current approaches related to other branches of dentistry with periodontology applications. 6) Develops periodontal disease control programs for patients. 7) Provides supportive periodontal treatment by organizing maintenance program for patients. 8) Implements infection control program for dental practice. 9) Organizes, develops, implements and evaluates periodontal disease control programs for patients 10) Organizes, develops, implements, evaluates and provides supportive periodontal care for patients 11) Organizes, develops and implements infection control program for dental practice 12) It sets the indications for surgical periodontal treatments.
