At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explains the current treatment options by evaluating the restorative aspects in the diagnosis and treatment plan process. 2) Explains the modifications that can be applied in restorative treatments by considering the medical and dental condition of the patient. 3) Follows the universal infection control guidelines required for restorative treatments. 4) Maintains complete patient records and compares dental status data during the follow-up process. 5) It recognizes the caries lesion in the clinic and removes the carious tissues during the cavity preparation. 6) It accurately determines the working limits and possibilities and directs the patient to the relevant specialist to ask for consultation when necessary. 7) Prepares alternative treatment plans for the patient, taking into account the patient's oral and dental health risk group. 8) Decides on the appropriate treatment for the oral and dental health risk group with the patient. 9) Prevents progression of lesion by using early diagnosis and treatment methods in initial dental caries lesions
