At the end of this course, the students; 1) Clarify the current treatment options by evaluating the patient from a restorative point of view during the diagnosis and treatment planning process. 2) Explain the modifications that can be applied in restorative treatments by considering the medical and dental condition of the patient. 3) Implement the universal infection control instructions required for restorative treatments under the supervision of a faculty member. 4) Maintain complete patient records and compare dental status data during the follow-up process. 5) Recognize the caries lesion in the clinic and remove the carious tissues during the cavity preparation under the supervision of a faculty member. 6) Accurately determine the working limits and possibilities and refer the patient to the relevant specialist under the supervision of a faculty member in order to ask for consultation when necessary. 7) Prepare alternative treatment plans for the patient, taking into account the patient's oral and dental health risk group. 8) Decide on the appropriate treatment with the patient according to the patient's oral and dental health risk group.
