At the end of this course, the students; 1) Recognizes hand instruments used in Restorative Dentistry. 2) Applies traditional amalgam preparation methods. 3) Applies the cavity base materials used in traditional cavity preparations. 4) Performs various direct restorations applied with amalgam. 5) Applies conservative cavity preparations by observing the stages. 6) Implements mandatory universal infection control methods in the preclinic. 7) Uses light devices used in the curing of light-cured restorative materials. 8) Uses rotary, ultra-fast, and sonic instruments used in restorative dentistry.
