At the end of this course, the students;
1) Develop sub-skills of reading,
2) Learn the meaning and use of language associated with different text types, using appropriate strategies to work out meaning,
3) Write an academic paragraph,
4) Reflect upon what they have read,
5) Understand important points, distinguish the main ideas from supporting details,
6) Recognize common words and word combinations in the field of dentistry,
7) Deduce the meaning of unfamiliar words and word groups from context,
8) Understand general and specific information in dental-related audio materials.
