LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn to communicate with geriatric patients and taking anamnesis from patients theoretically. 2) Learn the normal and abnormal changes in aging-related physiological functions theoretically. 3) Learn the periodontal diseases that occur in geriatric patients theoretically. 4) Learn the diseases of salivary functions in geriatric patients theoretically. 5) Learn how to approach geriatric patients in terms of restorative dental treatment 6) Learn how to approach geriatric patients in terms of endodontic dental treatment 7) Learn how to approach geriatric patients in terms of prosthetic dental treatment 8) Experience in dental treatment in geriatric and disabled patients and learn theoretically what the difficulties are and possible solutions
