At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gaining the ability of communication and cooperation with the patient, giving information about their situation 2) Evaluation of the patient?s systemic condition, medical history, anamnesis, symptoms and complaints 3) Evaluation of the patient clinically and radiographically 4) Definition of the proper diagnosis 5) Determination of the treatment approach 6) Gaining the ability to inform the patient about their condition, treatment approach and treatment planning 7) Evaluating the patient?s treatment needs and coordination with other dental departments 8) Learning the basic principles of the maxillofacial surgery, and treatment modalities 9) Comprehends the diagnosis and treatment modalities of the maxillofacial pathologies 10) Learning the dental local anesthesia techniques 11) Practicing and observation of the dentoalveolar surgical practices with an instructor
