LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Indications and contraindications according to restoration types
2) Clinical order and materials used
3) Learning the clinical and laboratory stages of restorations
4) Ensuring communication between the physician and the laboratory
5) Delivery of the restorations to the patient and learning the patient education
6) Learning the maintenance phase of restorations
7) Learning the solutions to the problems that may arise
8) Learning new application methods depending on the developing technology

COURSE DEFINITIONThe definitions, basic approaches, practices, materials and methods are explained about the prosthetic dental treatment. The restoration of soft and hard tissue loss with natural and mechanical tools and providing function and aesthetics at the stomatognathic system taught to the students.
