At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gaining the ability of communication and cooperation with the patient, giving information about their situation 2) Evaluation of the patient clinically and radiographically 3) Comprehension of the oral and maxillofacial anatomy 4) Definition of the correct indication for the case 5) Evaluation of the proper differential diagnosis 6) Evaluation of the oral and maxillofacial pathologies, their clinical and radiographic findings, etiology and differential diagnosis and diagnosing the case 7) Determination of the correct treatment approach 8) Having information about the acute cases and emergencies and their treatment approaches

COURSE DEFINITION
Oral pathologies, benign and malignant lesions, their etiologies as well as the clinical and the radiological findings are defined. Possible differential diagnosis, biopsy and treatment modalities are described. The anatomy of the maxillofacial region is described with cases compatible with the clinical cases.
