At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learns the physical properties and usage of instruments used in root canal preparation. 2) Learns root canal access cavities, calculation of working length, cleaning and shaping methods of root canal. 3) Gains knowledge about the biomechanical properties of root canal filling materials and their usage areas and filling of root canals. 4) Learns the isolation of teeth and the use of rubber-dam. 5) Learns root canal morphologies. 6) Learns root canal drug use. 7) Learns the indications and contraindications of root canal treatment. 8) Understands the role of smear layer in apical and coronal leakage.
