LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Can perform various direct restorations applied with current restorative materials
2) Learns conventional and contemporary cavity preparation methods
3) They learn by applying universal infection control instructions for clinical procedures.
4) Provides ergonomic and safe working environments where the dentist can apply the working positions used in the routine practice of dentistry.
5) Communicates effectively with groupmates (team members)
6) They gain habits such as following the lesson order, punctuality, cleanliness and discipline.
7) Applies interpersonal adaptation and communication skills such as preclinical teamwork, four-handed dentistry
8) Respects, empathizes and obeys the classmates in the group he works with

COURSE DEFINITIONThe objective of this course is to teach restorative treatment approaches and techniques for dental tissue loss.

3rd Week Amalgam restorations in phantom models
4th Week Class III and Class IV and Class V cavity demonstration and applications
5th Week Anterior Composite Resin Restoration Demonstration and Applications
6th Week Restoration Demonstration and Application with Strip Crowns
7th Week Posterior Composite Resin Restoration Demonstration and Applications
8th Week Rubber Dam applications Demonstration and applications
9th Week Glass ionomer cement demonstration and applications
10th Week Free Work, Completion of Incomplete works and Delivery of works
