COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Introduction, concept of the merchant. 2nd Week Business of commerce, acquiring the status of a merchant, consequences of being a merchant. 3rd Week Consequences of the trade, commercial courts. 4th Week Trade registry, business name, trademark, unfair competition. 5th Week Commercial books, merchant assistants. 6th Week Contract and its interpretations, change of contract, pre-contract. 7th Week General information partnerships. 8th Week MIDTERM 9th Week Joint stock company. 10th Week Board of Directors of the joint stock company. 11th Week The general assembly of the joint stock company. 12th Week Joint stock company ownership and the rights of the shareholders. 13th Week Joint stock company liquidation. 14th Week General principles of the Law of Negotiable Instruments.
