LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to point out how criminal law overlaps with other fields of law. 2) Will be able to identify elements of crime in a case. 3) Will be able to differentiate between malicious intent, non-malicious intent, and recklessness in a case. 4) Will be able to understand the basic concepts of criminal law.

COURSE DEFINITION	Elements of crime, attempt, complicity, concurence of crimes, and concept of criminal are some of the basic subjects of the course.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Introduction of Criminal Law. 2nd Week Principle of legality in crime and punishment and their consequences. 3rd Week Sources of Criminal Law / Interpretation of legal rules in criminal law. 4th Week Application of criminal law in terms of geographical jurisdiction, time and person. 5th Week Introduction to crime theory: Legal value, object of crime, concept of victim and the harmed person, structural elements of crime. 6th Week Elements of crime: Result, couse-effect, other elements. 7th Week Elements of crime 8th Week MIDTERM 9th Week Violations of and concordance with the law. 10th Week Criminal responsibility and factors influencing it. 11th Week Particular forms of criminal offence - Attempt / Complicity / Conspiracy. 12th Week Incarceration as punishment and fines. 13th Week Delay of the execution of punishment / Pardons / Conditional parole 14th Week Overview
