At the end of this course, the students; 1) Disstinguish the several kinds of knowledge about law; 2) Distinguish the doctrinal knowledge from the scientific knowledge about law, 3) Distinguish the doctrinal knowledge from the philosophical knowledge about law, 4) Distinguish the doctrinal knowledge from critical knowledge of law, 5) Recognize the legal cultures; 6) Recognize the basic features of Anglo-american legal culture, 7) Recognize the basic features of Continental Europe, 8) Apprehend the historical importance of the reception, 9) Collate the similar and distinct features of legal thinking and ethical thinking

COURSE DEFINITION
Law and social order, suspicion from the science of law, functions of law, law and norm, moral values, doctrinal knowledge from critical knowledge of law, main branches of public and private law, the sources of law and the hierarchy of the sources, application of law, the basic concepts of law subjects are taught in the course.
