LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain an understanding of the human side of the organization 2) Know how learning takes place at the individual, group and organizational levels 3) Know the perceptual inflences on organizational decision processes 4) Know theories of motivation 5) Know the realtionship between motivation and job design 6) Gain an understanding of leadership theories 7) Understand the role of power and politics on organizations

COURSE DEFINITION	In this course, human behaviour in organizations is examined in terms of its impacts on individual, group, and organizational effectiveness. In the individual level, personality, values, perception, motivation; in the group level, group formation, communication, leadership, power-politics, conflict and in the organizational level, structure, technology and organizational culture are discussed with respect to their impacts on personal, group and organizational effectiveness.
