At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the scope and basis of scientific research. 2) Learn the methods of accessing scientific information and data collection. 3) Reads and understands scientific texts also can analyze data. 4) Learn how to prepare a research report. 5) Have knowledge of scientific ethics and can prevent unethical behaviors.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course is designed to investigate the research methods and the steps of scientific research process. In this course, finding the right research question, stating a hypothesis, operationalization, measuring, collecting and analyzing the data, interpretation and writing report techniques are examined. Ethics and theory of ethics, research and publication ethics, unethical issues are taken during the class.
