LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define the basic concepts related to finance 2) Define the financial system and its components; the concepts of interest, risk return, time value of money and discounted cash flows 3) Interpret the financial statements 4) Gain experience in Excel?s financial and statistical functions and analysis

COURSE DEFINITION	This course basically gives students a general impression of the theory of finance. It gives information about the financial tools necessary to make the right business decisions.
