LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the relationship between different rules of social order including religious, ethical, customary and legal rules. 2) Assess methods of application of legal rules and interpretation of legal rules. 3) Define sources of law based on the hierarchy of norms. 4) Analyse legal systems of the world based on a comparison of civilian law and common law systems. 5) Classify various branches associated with the fields of public law and private law.

COURSE DEFINITION	The aim of this lecture is making an introduction to law and law systems and to teach main subjects of Turkish law system.
