1) update their knowledge about financial markets, financial intermediaries and other economic agents.
2) enhance their knowlege on monetary theory and policy.

4) discuss topics such as main policy tools of central banks, rezerve markets, long and medium term tagets, demand for money.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe introduction of basic principles of monetary theory and policy which are very important for financial markets, financial intermediaries and other all economic agents is aimed in this module. As a result concepts such as money supply process, policy instruments of central banks, reserve markets, medium and long run targets and money demand will be outlined.
