At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand core concepts of economics 2) Can relate basic economic theoriees and principles to current microeconomic and macroeconomic issues. 3) Can use economic principles and reasoning to solving and arguing business related socio economic issues. 4) Know social, cultural and environmental ethics and norms 5) Can effectively communicate people from different socio economic status groups.

COURSE DEFINITION | Organizations (SMEs) increase level of welfare by contributing socio-economic stability. They also play a big role in improving work environment by increasing society?s productivity capacity. The socio-economic transition caused by economic distress in 1970s has led SMEs to become prominent. Global financial crisis caused a number of companies to resign, especially in emerging countries. In this respect, this course enables managers to come up with market-oriented solution offers to survive and preserve their existence in socio-economic view for firms struggling from financial bottleneck. |
