COURSE DEFINITIONRisk capital is the investment made by institutional investors in order to satisfy the needs of the visionary, innovative and productive entrepreneurs with a high growth potential yet face troubles in obtaining the necessary financial resources in respect of the realization of investment and growth. This course aims to provide managers with developing the perspective to understand how the industry works by touching upon the types of capitals. This course contributes managers to understand how private enterprise and risk capital institutions work and the reasons of choosing this formation and where opportunities and problems concerning innovations emerge.
