COURSE DEFINITION
The key philosophy of strategic management is to design plans which help organizations to survive and to sustain in various business environments. Strategic management gives great emphasis on forecasting future events. Main point of the strategic management is placing proactive thinking at the center of the decision-making process. Managers should be able to create, shape and design their own future. Organizations require strategic management to make long term strategic plans and to evaluate environmental opportunities and threats. At the end of this lesson, participants will be able to craft differentiated, stable and flexible firm strategies. Participants will improve their decision-making skills especially under the risky, uncertain business conditions. Also within the context of this course, real life business models will be discussed and case studies will be conducted.
