At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the working forms and configurations of the Construction Sector in Turkey. 2) Learn the working forms and configurations of the Construction Sector in the World. 3) Comprehend various tender management techniques 4) Can manage the relationships between buyers, sellers and suppliers. 5) Knows ethical issues about Construction Sector 6) Can conduct planning, auditing, efficiency and timing tests.

COURSE DEFINITION | Construction sector is considered as the symbol of the urbanization, modernization, progression and development. Thanks to the construction of buildings, the sector with its business lines has an important role in the national economy. The construction industry has a wide range of job opportunities extending from the renewal works to roads and infrastructure works. There are approximately two millions of people employed in the sector. The corporations leading in the construction sector realize important projects in not only the country but also abroad. Within the scope of the course, experienced professionals in the field will convey their experience. In this regard, the subjects of countering bureaucratic problems, increasing financial sources, risk management and establishing contact with companies abroad will be discussed. |
