COURSE DEFINITION
This course covers the legal foundations of the intellectual property rights on the national and international level. The effects of the intellectual property rights on the global economy and the development will be discussed, as well as, the place of the intellectual property rights in the society. In this respect, copyright, design rights, trademarks, patents, confidentiality agreements, infringment of trademarks, database rights will be examined. Moreover, the development of the international policy and the agreements dealing with the intellectual property rights in the social, cultural and commercial foundations will be handled.
