COURSE DEFINITIONEcological Economics covers how to make sustainability and environmental management work in practice through the application of economic principles. Ecological economics is considered as the management of sustainability by combining the environmental, social and economic systems. It enables the managers taking the course to evaluate the problems dealing with the subjects of ecological production, consumption ideologies, environmental crisis, nature and economics, as well as, to get different opinions about the change from the economic growth toward the quality of life. The course designed by focusing on the real world provides managers with acquiring the skill of fictionalization of a sustainable future from the economic and environmental perspectives.
