1) Have the knowledge of theories, methods and techniques of script-writing
2) Practise script-writing for television and short movies
3) Have competence of evaluation for output works with other examples from different disciplines

COURSE DEFINITIONWithin this course, it is aimed to learn contextual and formal stages of script writing for TV productions, motion pictures or commercial movies and to put into practice authentic forms and rules of an audio-visual structure. For that purpose, there will be exercices about all elements of visual language - such as being able to use imagination in accordance wtih cinema and television's structure that is capable of using space and time as a plastic material and perpetuate the dramatical structure - from the stage of finding a idea to the stage of writing and visualisation.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Reminding of the contextual and formal writing stages of a script through sample scripts, exercices on sample scripts.
2nd Week Reminding of the contextual and formal writing stages of a script through sample scripts, exercices on sample scripts.
3rd Week Finalization of synopsis writing by identfying the theme and subject.
4th Week Treatment writing
5th Week Treatment writing
6th Week Continuity / Sequence Study / Finalization of cinematographic story.
7th Week Elimination of project deficincies
8th Week MIDTERM
9th Week Writing shooting script
10th Week Completing the stage of story board.
11th Week Editing
12th Week Stages of visual editing, sound(music, dialogues, sound effects) matching.
13th Week Completing final operations concerning the post-production stages of the project.
14th Week Evaluation
