COURSE DEFINITION
RTS 322 is designed to provide students with information about Function of the television which electronic mass communication tool, technological developments, team, equipment, program types, construction phase of the program.

Program idea and evaluation of program idea.

Preproduction planning and preparations. Production?s aim, target audience and analyzing the audience.

Type of program, the duration of the program and ideal broadcast time of the program.
6th Week
Determination of the production mode and presentation form of the program.
7th Week
Production research. Writing the script.
8th Week
Midterm

Program proposal
10th Week
Determining the production team and technical possibilities of the program.
11th Week
Determining the shooting locations of the program and location research.
12th Week
Determining the objects, sound, graphic and archive materials to be used in the program.

Preparing the program budget.
