At the end of this course, the students; 1) Get to know television and movie cameras and learn their principle of working. 2) Gain skills of shooting techniques and usage of camera. 3) Gain skills and knowledge of basic lighting.

COURSE DEFINITION
Cameras and their working principles,basic parts of camera and camera lenses, camera mounting and other tools, camera types, usage of camera and camera moving, frame, framing, shooting scale and shooting techniques,composition,light and colour,filters,lighting systems,basic lighting and lighting techniques in cinema and television productions are the basic subjects of this course.Students taking this course will also gain skills with practice.

Light, colour and filters, lighting techniques.

Shooting scales,frame,framing and framing techniques. Effective elements of framing.

Movement and basic camera movement in cinema and television. Framing techniques.

Picture composition. Scene unison and visual continuity. Triangle theory and basic shooting techniques in camera placement.
