LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Will learn to prepeare a presentetion using visual and audial instruments.
2) Will learn the techniques of summarizing a presentation and asking questions effectively.
3) Will experience prepearing presentation with small groups.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of this course is to help students develop their oral communication skills, specifically public speaking skills. In this course student are trained in adapting a message to a particular audience, and supporting ideas clearly and logically, and delivering an effective message with confidence and enthusiasm.

2nd Week Class speeches and discussions
3rd Week Pre-presentation preparation: Analyzing the audience
4th Week How to become a better listener, overcoming barriers for effective listening, ethical responsibilities of a listener
5th Week The techniques of effective speech
6th Week How to build your first speech in presentations? Discussion through examples
7th Week Use of body language and voice in presentations
8th Week Mid-term
9th Week How to prepare for a presentation? How to use text and visuals in presentation?
10th Week Informative speeches
11th Week Persuasive speech
12th Week Final speeches
13th Week Final speeches
